About us

Johan and Mercia are a husband and wife team who have been involved in photography since 1988. Johan did freelance wedding photography for Graeme Bridger for many years and literally did hundreds of weddings during this time. There was about ten photographers who experimented and shared ideas and techniques with each other gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in the process.

We currently do all types of photography but we specialize in weddings, family- portraits and Landscapes. Our style is romantic informal.

We both have a huge passion for photography thus we are continuously studying and always looking for new ways to improve our ability to keep up with modern trends.

Since we have a passion for photography, we only use the very best equipment available which at the moment is Nikon including the famous D3s (Camera of the year 2010) with F2.8 lenses and SB900 with its advanced wireless lightning system, which is out of the reach of the average amateur photographer. With this equipment we can do studio quality photo's virtually anywhere.

We are members of several forums where top photographers judge each others work.  Our photographs frequently gets chosen as top photographs.
